DPM runs many events throughout the year to encourage the four pillars among our sisters: Selflessness, Sisterhood, Unity, and Community. This includes our annual Retreat where our sisters gather for a weekend to share an unforgettable experience.
Combatting Domestic Violence
DPMF is proud to announce a unique partnership with the Honorable Gold Star Father Mr. Khizr Khan’s Law Office in our joint venture for a nation-wide referral network connecting Desi victims of domestic abuse with pro-bono attorneys in their states.
Mentoring Medical Students
DPM runs a mentorship program for medical students, where we pair Desi medical students and residents with attending physicians from across North America to mentor them professionally and support them personally.
